Despite years of denials of liability by SEPTA, today I settled a case in favor of a injured passenger.
SEPTA repeatedly denied that they had knowledge that the woman was even injured. They repeatedly denied that the woman even made a claim for damages. We filed suit and pursued them aggressively. During discovery SEPTA miraculously found the incident report filled out by the plaintiff. Today, they finally decided to pay on this claim and an injured passenger of a negligently operated SEPTA train got some measure of justice.
